Herbal Colourants Often herbs and spices can be used to add fantastic natural colours to hot and cold processed soaps and may also be useful when colouring other handcrafted products. The amount needed to colour your particular product will depend on your base recipe and the resulting colour of the soap produced. A white base will give a different result to a cream base. N.B.
